Team leader for the development of an LPG fuel injection system in gaseous and liquid state. Responsible for relationships with the University of Parma and Perugia for different research projects. Member of the team IVECO for the development of an heavy duty NGV vehicle. Responsible for the purchasing of an engine and a roller test bench with CVS to be used in the R&D area. Responsible for the type approval of LPG and CNG components at TUV Sudwest and Canadian IAS. Represented Company at national level with CUNA/ANFIA and at international level within the GRPE group, ONU, and ENGVA to define a European harmonized standard for LPG and CNG components and fuel systems. Responsible for defining the product development procedure in line with ISO 9001.

Stargas srl designs and manufactures alternative fuel systems for automotive applications.

Full responsible for structuring the technical area divided in design, development and customer service. Member of the Company board for promoting the brand and the customer retention. Responsible for representing the Company within the Italian Associations of alternative fuels systems. Product developed: LPG circular tank, LPG fuel injection system and all the components to comply with R67 standard. Responsible for relationships with the University of Naples and “Istituto Motori of Naples”. Promoter of the “Jonathan” programme, a short training course for secondary school students. For this initiative an interview has been published on the daily newspaper “Il Mattino di Napoli” for the 1st April ’99 issues. On June 1999 the Company is certified ISO 9001.

Magneti Marelli powertrain design and manufactures the robotized gearbox transmission Selespeed.

Full responsible for timing, costs and product performances of the assigned projects. Leader of the cross functional team for Fiat Group programs. Developed, from the concept stage, the products for the following applications: Fiat Punto, Idea, Panda, Lancia Y, Musa, Alfa 156, 147, GTA.

Coordinates all project managers (7 resources) for automotive, marine and off road applications. The project manager is the main reference for Customers, he has to deal with customer’s engineering and purchasing and has the responsibility for product development and product profitability. The project manager makes commercial proposal, negotiate the conditions and establish project and program targets, run the internal APQP team and is in charge for continuous improvement once in production (mainly cost and quality) for zero hours and in field.

Responsible for business development and sales of VM’s new line of product: engineering services (sales of engineering and testing for diesel engines and vehicles). Contacts established: Chrysler, GM Detroit, GM Torino, GM Thailand, GM China, Proton, Honda, DR Motor, Deutz, Same, FPT Industrial, Fiat Auto, Weichai, Huatai, SDEC, Breda Menarini, FAAM, Zavoli, MV Agusta. Main activities: redesign of engines for emissions or performances, vehicle calibration, dual fuel (CNG-Diesel) demonstrator, vehicle testing, racing (FIA cross country competition). Speaker for China and Italy School of Policy (www.cisp-project.it). Creator and promoter of the italian master in “vehicle calibration” hosted by the University of Modena, able to involve in the project Automobili Lamborghini, Eldor Corporation, FEV, Landi Renzo, Magneti Marelli, Lombardini and Maserati.

Member of the board of Directors with divisional budget responsibility. Reports to the General Manager. Responsible for technical area redesign. Introduced APQP product development and PPAP methodologies. Full responsible for the product in terms of technical contents, timing, reliability and profitability. The main coordinated functions are: project management (PMO), research and innovation, legislation, simulations (CFD and Thermal Structural), design (Catia/Smarteam), testing, IPR, value analysis, product quality (including SQEs) ad interim. Represents Emak in the European association Euromot (www.euromot.org – see people behind Euromot). Coordinates all Company activities towards Universities and research centres.
